The scientific centre “Centre for Research on Law and Hybrid Threats”  was created on 1 March 2026.

The purpose of the Centre’s activities is to conduct research, both in the field of legal sciences and interdisciplinary studies, concerning the counteraction, prevention, and response to hybrid threats using instruments provided by law.

The primary tasks of the Centre include, in particular:

  1. Preparing scientific publications related to the Centre’s activities;
  2. Organising lectures, academic seminars, and conferences related to the Centre’s activities;
  3. Applying for external funding, including research grants, to support the implementation of the Centre’s tasks;
  4. Establishing cooperation with domestic and international research centres, as well as with domestic and international institutions and bodies involved in issues related to the Centre’s scope of activity;
  5. Preparing legal analyses and opinions;
  6. Conducting general public activities aimed at promoting awareness of hybrid threats within the scientific community and society;
  7. Promoting the results of the Centre’s activities.
