We gladly inform that the European Commission awarded a JUST grant for the project „Justice, Fundamental rIghts and Artificial Intelligence“ (JuLIA). The research will focus on the perspectives for applicaton of AI algorithms for automatization of decision making by courts and administrative bodies, as well as the role played in this regard by the EU law and fundamental rights. The project will carried out by a consortium of academic institutions from Italy, France, Netherlands, Portugal and Poland (where there partner of the project is the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences). A part of the research will be led is Dr. Mateusz Grochowski (Institute of Law Studies and the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg) who will also manage the part of the study carried out in Poland.
