Professor of legal sciences. Member of the Office of Studies and Analyses (Biuro Studiów i Analiz) of the Supreme Court in the Criminal Chamber. Since 2005. – Assistant judge in the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court.
In 2011, she was awarded third prize in a competition organised by the Foundation for the Promotion of European Law for her book entitled „Wspólny obszar postępowania karnego w prawie Unii Europejskiej”.
Lecturer at the European School of Law and Administration (EWSP) from 2014 to 2018. She taught: lecture and seminar Criminal Procedure, lecture European Criminal Law, specialisation lecture International Criminal Law – on the basis of an employment contract (200h of salary). Since 2016 head of the Department of Criminal Law at the EWSP.
In 2016 – judge in The ICC Moot Court Competition 2016 – a member of the Judges Panel for the written portion of the Competition.
In 2017 – expert of the National Science Centre in the Sonata and Opus competitions.
Research interests:
- international criminal law;
- criminal procedure;
- comparative criminal law;
- European Union criminal law.
- „The Accusation Model before the International Criminal Court. A Study of Convergence between the Legal Systems” – Head and contractor. Project funded by the National Science Centre, implemented in 2013-2015.
- „Cooperation with the International Criminal Court” – Contractor. Project carried out in 2013-2014, within the framework of an earmarked grant of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for financing the scientific development of young scientists and doctoral students.
- „Kryteria oceny wewnętrznej spójności modelu procedury karnej. Analiza porównawcza” – Head and contractor. Project funded by the National Science Centre, Opus 11 (UMO-2016/21/B/HS5/02061), carried out in 2017-2021.
- „In search of justice for core crimes in the digital age” – Head and contractor. Project funded by the National Science Centre, Opus 25 (UMO-2023/49/B/HS5/02623), carried out in 2024-2028.
