Anna Młynarska-Sobaczewska – has been working in the field of constitutional law since 1999. Her research interest focus on theory of constitutional law, constitutionalism and human rights.
For many years (till 2013) had been affiliated with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź, then with the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The head of the Department of Constitutional Law and European Research since 2016.
Research projects:
- 2015-2017 – coordinator of research project: Legitimacy of state authority (NN 110 194834).
- Investigator in the project: Appointing of constitutional judges (financed by NCN, provided by University of Łódź).
- 2015-2018 – principal investigator of the research project: Right to culture – legal model (OPUS, 2014/13/B/HS5/01325)
- 2019-2024 – principal investigator of the research project: Accountabulity as a category of constitutional law (OPUS, UMO-2018/29/B/HS5/01771).
- 2023-2026 – principal investigator of the research project: Right to housing (Nauka dla Społeczeństwa II, NdS-II/SP/0297/2023/01).
Scholarship:
She was awarded by The Kościuszko Foundation fellowship 2014-2015 – Chicago Kent College of Law, IIT.
