Call for application: a native-speaking English proofreader

The Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences is seeking a native-speaking proofreader of English texts, in order to provide a proofreading of a set of materials on the European Union Law. The required qualifications are: 1) native command of English and 2) an academic degree in law or substantial experience in proofreading legal texts.

The applicants are required to submit:

  • a curriculum vitae
  • a letter of intent, in particular explaining any experience with proofreading or editing legal texts in English
  • an applicant’s consent for processing her personal data by the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, for the purposes of the application process

The proofreading will be remunerated upon the final number of pages, with respect to the average rates on the market.

not later than on 23 August 2018.

The call is a part of the project: „Roadmap to European effective Justice (RE-Jus): judicial training ensuring effective redress to fundamental rights violations”, co-founded by the European Commission (JUST/2015/JTRA/AG/EJTR).
